Each day, we will feature several courses. The number of courses posted about each day will vary depending on our schedule and tasks for the day. Throughout the session, we will feature as many courses as possible.

Today in "Periodic Explorations" students studied and witnessed several single replacement reactions with HCL and ZnCl or MgCl. There were a lot of flames and bubbles!

Today in "(Super) Human Physics" students finished up their second lab of the class, did a reaction time lab, and began investigating superspeed.

"Architecture: Redesign in order to Reuse" students practiced drawing. In particular, students practiced drawing blind contours. The amount of focus that students had was impressive. Everyone seemed to be having a fun time looking at the objects they were drawing rather than their paper.

Today in "Engineering Hogwarts," SEP 9-11 Engineers worked in groups to design and build a space colony located on mars. Each group was in charge of developing a particular aspect of the colony, for example, agriculture, medical, housing, and recreation. After each group designed their parts, the whole class worked together to combine what they and create the colony as a whole.

Today in "Math, Statistics. Game Theory," students learned about discount factors and personality types in games. They focused on strategies to use when playing games based on the type of person their opponent is, how many rounds are played, the chance of error, and more. After an online simulation of various scenarios and how one would play a game according to the situation, students applied these tactics to creating a strategy chart of their own.

Best,

Nicole, Olivia and Abby

Hi tdib31, while in class, students are in air conditioned classrooms here at STAB. While outside, counselors and teachers ensure that students are bringing their water bottles with them and keep an eye on students to ensure their well being.
