Day 2 of session 2 was a hectic one! We apologize for not getting this posted yesterday.

Each day, we will feature several courses. Throughout the session, we will feature as many courses as possible.

Yesterday in "Parsing Primary Sources: Learning to Read Like a Historian," SEP 9-11 Historians worked in groups to create a newspaper that included a headline, picture, and two paragraphs. Each group received the description of a specific person and developed all aspects of their newspaper from the perspective of that person.

Yesterday in "Electric and Autonomous Vehicles," 9-11 engineers learned about the history of the electric car in the United States and the different industries deterrents and motivations toward developing a low or zero emissions car. Students watched a video that talked about how electric vehicles work and specifically focused on Tesla. After watching the video, students engaged in a discussion about the mechanics behind the electric car and how it differs from traditional vehicles.

Best,

Nicole, Olivia and Abby
