Today in "Architecture: Redesign in order to Reuse," SEP architects continue to diligently work on their redesign of the Landmark Hotel in Downtown Charlottesville. Students are using popsicle sticks, cardboard, construction paper, and other materials to create a 3D model of their carefully planned redesign.

Today in "The Gender Game: Exploring Social Norms," students had the opportunity to participate in a privilege walk. Prior to participating, students watched a video about what the activity would entail and did a secret ballot vote to determine if they wanted to do the activity, students chose to participate. In a privilege walk, various statements are read like "take a step forward if there were more than 50 books in your house growing up" and "take a step back if one or both of your parents were born outside of the US".

Today in "Periodic Explorations," students had the opportunity to explore liquid nitrogen. In the first experiment observed, teacher Michael Farabaugh placed a balloon in liquid nitrogen and passed it around the class. For the second experiment, students were joined by 7-8 students from "(Super) Human Physics". In this experiment, a racquetball was placed in liquid nitrogen and then thrown on the floor where it shattered.
