Each day, we will feature several courses. The number of courses posted about each day will vary depending on our schedule and tasks for the day. Throughout the session, we will feature as many courses as possible.
This Morning in "On the Brink... Innovations in Warfare in WWII," students learned about the Holocaust. Students discussed how the Nazi party came into power in Germany and the ideology that drove them to persecute the Jewish population and many others.
In "Blueprint to You," students are acting as physicians diagnosing patients with different types of cancer. Students are in small groups researching various cancers. Based on patient information, students must recommend tests and examinations for patients. Furthermore, by the end of class, patients will be diagnosed by students who will create and offer them informational brochures.
Today in "Engineering Hogwarts" students discussed engineering ethics. They analyzed and debated several engineering ethics scenarios in small groups. Collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and controversy highlighted today's class.
This morning students in "Explorations in Neuroscience" and "The Energizers and Catalyzers of the Biochemical Process" joined together to learn about the five senses and neurons. "Explorations in Neuroscience" students presented projects on the five students to the classes. Also, the classes played synapse tag together.
Today in "From Hamlet to Black Panther," students covered Act IV of Hamlet. Students also had the opportunity to write their own ending for the play prior to starting Act V tomorrow.
Today in “Religion, Rulers, and Riots,” students learned about the Roman Empire in the first century, BCE. The discussion centered around Military Victories for Rome and the beginning of a new government.
